Two exciting new group shows on the horizon for Artworks!

#1 – Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos)

This Mexican celebration (traditionally November 1 and 2, in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day) honours the deceased … THAT certainly ought to get the creative juices flowing! This group show will open THURSDAY, OCT. 24th and run thru Nov. 6. Up to a maximum of three pieces per artists, all works must be for sale, not all applicants will be accepted – please email artworks@gabriolaartworks.com, subject line: ATTN. #2- “SLICK: Big Oil, Slick Politics, and the Steep and Slippery Slope of Climate Change”

In conjunction with Gabriola’s Save Our Shore’s Art and Activism Celebration in November, Artworks is putting together – “SLICK: Big Oil, Slick Politics, and the Steep and Slippery Slope of Climate Change” A group art show featuring the works of Gabriola artists opening Thursday, Nov. 7 thru Nov. 20th.
