GAC is looking for a Summer Student!
The Community Arts Assistant will be engaged in all aspects of organizing and managing the Eighth Annual Gabriola Theatre Festival in August. The CAA will be involved in marketing and promotion; site and logistics management; special event coordination; technical and venue management; and all other aspects of running a successful and lively community-based theatre and performance event. The job may include other arts and arts council-related tasks.
This will be fun and valuable learning experience for an enthusiastic, hard-working high-school student with a passion for the arts and who loves working as part of a team. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.
Job start date: June 30, and running for 9 weeks
You must have been a full-time student last year, and must be returning to school full-time in September.
