The Gabriola Arts Council is bringing nonprofit management consultant Alison Brewin to Gabriola to offer a workshop for board members of local organizations and anyone generally interested in being an effective board member or learning about nonprofits, board planning, governance, strategic planning etc. You do not have to be affiliated with a nonprofit organization to take this workshop.

Alison will be specifically addressing board roles & responsibilities, and the effective use of a strategic plan. If you or your board have specific questions that may be relevant to the larger group, please email them to Michelle in advance.
