Cultivate 2023 is all about finding your rhythm.
We are hosting an art show where the inspiration is RHYTHM, however that strikes a chord, in whatever medium. We are limited to art that can hang on the gallery system at the Gabriola Arts & Heritage Centre, as the centre will be used for performances during Cultivate.
We welcome artists to apply to this show running July 1 – 9th.
While we would love to say yes to all artists applying, the Cultivate committee will choose work that resonates with the Rhythm theme, artistic merit and overall presentation for the show.
The gallery will be open from 10-2pm on days it is not in use for a performance. Work can be for sale and the Gabriola Arts Council will take a 10% commission. The show will be installed on June 29th. Photos and gallery card information of the finished piece for the show will be required June 25th.
Deadlines:
June 20 – deadline for entry
June 25 – selected artists must submit a photo and information of their piece by this date
