We sent out a special announcement email last week to our members and tested out our new logo. It is now official and you will see it slowly appearing on all our platforms and communication. Patrick Belanger of Drifter Media worked with the Board and then a logo committee to develop and finalize our new logo. Pictured above is the full logo and below, the nickname logo (everyone calls us GAC, so we’re owning it).
What it represents to us is the solid foundation upon which the Gabriola Arts Council is built; how it continues to stand tall on the sandstone, surrounded by the sky and the sea and the embrace of the community. Or maybe it looks like an arty Stonehenge. We just like it.
