You’re invited!

Celebrate the life and creative legacy of David Botten. Enjoy an evening of music and celebration with community. It is also David’s birthday, so we will sing to him, where ever he might be, we know he’ll be listening.

Wednesday, September 6th we will be announcing the recipient of the 3rd and final David Botten Renaissance Award. Who will be the lucky winner of $1200 and a keepsake trophy?

David’s family will be performing and John Gresham has put together a groovy line up of some of the bands David used to play with during his time on Gabriola.

Performances by Purple Kush’n, Dog House Blues Revue, Bit O’the Green, Kat’s Pajamas, and Diamond Forest Kirtan with Ode Howard.

The music starts at 5:30pm sharp (someone has to catch a ferry!). Bring a chair, bring your dinner, bring a friend to the Reservoir Stage at the Commons – FREE EVENT.
