With over 25 years of experience, Joel Prevost has created an extensive body of work. The VIS studio also offers sculpting workshops. Students at various levels come seeking to perfect their skills in rendering the human form. Professional sculptor Joël A. Prévost teaches the techniques and use of tools necessary to sculpt a wall-mounted sculpture, taking you step by step by adding, subtracting, polishing.”
“In this workshop, the participant will sculpt from a slab of clay of 14 x 8 x 2 inches of clay. You only need to bring your desire to turn 12 pounds of clay into a wall-mounted work of art. Whether you wish to explore clay as a new medium or to deepen your knowledge of human anatomy, this is a great opportunity to learn to sculpt with a live model.
You must register in advance for all workshops and events. Workshops have limited space – spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will be kept for workshops that are full. Register early – don’t be disappointed!
Registration for GAC members begins on March 13th.
Registration for the public begins on March 14th.
