Marylyn Beaubien and Frank Shoemaker have been creating baskets since 2002, and beyond.  They are both founding members of the Gabriola Basket Case group.  They both enjoy sharing their basketry knowledge and experience with others, and there will be lots of one-to-one opportunities during the workshop.

You will start with a piece of driftwood or arbutus, and use a range of colours and materials to weave a beautiful basket to take home..

Materials to Bring: lunch, spray bottle for water, old hand towel or tea towel, scissors, small bucket for water

Age 18+

 

Tickets:

You must register in advance for all workshops and events. Workshops have limited space – spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will be kept for workshops that are full. Register early – don’t be disappointed!
