The main purpose of this workshop – besides having fun – is to gather a group of musicians of all levels and types, and to “workshop” how to create a song together. We would start with the songwriting process – how do we start? Is it music or lyrics? What style? What message? I would explain my own songwriting process with some examples, and then we would brainstorm to see what comes up. Hopefully by the end of the two hours.
Materials to bring: participants will bring something to write on or with and their instrument(s).
