Edith Kraus is a first generation Hungarian-Canadian who has preserved some of her cultural heritage through art.
Celebrating Easter is a significant part of Hungarian culture. One aspect of this heritage is painting eggs using melted beeswax and dyes. This technique is also known as batik. You will be encouraged to incorporate modern designs using traditional techniques.
You must register in advance for all workshops and events. Workshops have limited space – spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will be kept for workshops that are full. Register early – don’t be disappointed!
