By popular demand, we have offered a 2nd session of the Wild Medicinal Plant Walk and Basic Tinctures Workshops. This one is on April 7th.
Heather McLeod has been studying and practicing simple herbalism for more than ten years. She particularly loves teaching others about the myriad medicinal plants around us, so we can better care for ourselves when challenged with basic health issues or first aid situations.
You will spend time walking the ditches and forests of Gabriola, identifying medicinal plants, discovering their basic uses. Learn how to harvest some and make basic tinctures for your own use.
You must register in advance for all workshops and events. Workshops have limited space – spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will be kept for workshops that are full. Register early – don’t be disappointed!
Registration for GAC members begins on March 13th.
Registration for the public begins on March 14th.
