Before language, humans expressed themselves using a vast and varied array of vocal tones, pitches and rhythms—nonverbal grunts, howls, clicks and coos that carried information, as well as the emotional significance of what was being expressed. Join us for a day of vocal sounding exploration that will take you out of your speech-oriented head and into your expressive origins—and prepare to get wild!
Materials to bring: Non-restrictive clothing, comfortable footwear, a blanket, towel, or yoga mat for relaxation, and drinking water are recommended.
