WE ARE BACK TO PERFORMING AND HAVE ADDED NEW SHOWS!
The shows are booked and the time has arrived to celebrate performing artists on Gabriola Island with an initiative called Gabriola Live brought to you by the Gabriola Arts Council.
Protocols must be followed for all venues and vaccine passports are required. You can purchase your tickets on our website and the links are provided below or just go to the GABRIOLA LIVE tab on the navigation bar. To purchase tickets choose your show on the ticket page, choose the number of tickets, go to the bottom of the list and press “Get Tickets”.
Here’s what we have lined up for you:
Nathan Sobko & Tangled Roots: Feb 27th @ 2pm, Skol, by donation | Nathan Sobko is a singer songwriter who captures life with insight and humour. Tangled Roots (acoustic & slide guitars, banjo and bass), up-beat, eclectic repertoire of blues, folk, Celtic, and jug-band tunes.
RED: Mar 5th @ 7pm, Community Hall, $20 | Award winning play about abstract painter Rothko featuring Ray Appel and Tom Radcliffe, directed by Frank Moher.
Pastiche: Mar 6th @ 2pm, Christ Church, $20 |The Littlest Chamber Orchestra of Gabriola. Classical music from Andrew Clayden (trombone), Patricia Armstrong (violin), Deborah Vitek (oboe).

Sound of Her Voice & Stetson Road: Mar 11th @ 7pm, Community Hall, $20 | Linda Ronstadt & the Eagles performed by a full rocking band led by Michael Carey & Yolanda King. Stetson Road is a solo country act performing catchy originals
Carry On Art Affair: Mar 12th @ 6:30pm, Community Hall, $25 | The Gabriola Art Council’s annual arty fundraiser featuring live music, comedy, theatre, live auction, silent auction, food, beverages, MC Honey LaRue and the amazing works of art by local artists relating back to the theme of the show “Carry On”, in the form of bags!
Road Poets w/Brian Green: Mar 18th @ 7pm, Community Hall, $20 | Lyrically driven danceable rock band that sounds like Neil Young meets the Black Keys. Singer songwriter Brian Green performs songs of struggle and hope.

Sheila Norgate Live: Mar 19th @ 7pm, Phoenix Auditorium, $20 | A new one woman performance piece “She/Her/Mrs. Hokum: Good Breeding Waits for No Pandemic”.
Purple Kush’n: Mar 25th @ 7pm, Community Hall, $20 | 11 piece funk band with a horn section. You will be dancing in your seat and tapping your feet.
Bob Bossin’s Delayed Birthday 75+1: Mar 26th @ 7pm, Community Hall, $20 | A musical birthday party with old friends. Bob Bossin is a Canadian folk singer, writer and activist, who co-founded the Stringband.
