Five books. Five champions. One winner: Gabriola’s first-ever Battle of the Books features five of your favourite Gabriolans defending the book they believe is the Quintessential Canadian Novel. Sheryl MacKay, arts-lover and host of CBC Radio’s North-by-Northwest, will be host and referee for the evening.
In Gabriola’s edition of this beloved event, audience members determine the winning book. Be there to support your favourite book and the champion who makes the most compelling argument.
