Are you interested in joining GAC’s Board of Directors? Our directors commit to a three-year term, and can serve a maximum of two consecutive terms. Our Nominating Committee is always interested in receiving applications for board positions. Except under special circumstances, we elect new directors at our AGM in February. All applications will be reviewed by our Nominating Committee, which will make a recommendation to the Board based on current and upcoming needs and requirements.
We are grateful for your interest in the activities of the Board, and regret that all applicants may not be able to serve in a Director capacity. If you would like to stay on our list for future years and/or as a volunteer, please indicate that on the form below. We have a wide range of volunteer needs and tasks, including serving on committees and steering groups.
GAC Board members are required to commit a minimum of 10 hours per month to board affairs, including monthly meetings, email consultations, and event participation.
If you are accepted by the membership, we will require your date of birth (CRA regulations), and a short biography for the website. You must also have a current GAC membership.
