Gabriola Life Drawing Class
Drawing from life is a great way to improve your drawing skills. The sessions are suitable for beginners to experienced artists. Friendly, supportive atmosphere and no pressure to produce a masterpiece. Bring your own materials and an easel if you want one – chairs and benches for leaning drawing boards on are provided. We start with short poses for 1 or 2 minutes and progress to 20 minute to half-hour poses. Cost is $15 a session or $45 for four sessions (prepay and come when you can). Payment covers the model’s fee and studio rental. Life Drawing Gabriola is run on an informal basis by volunteers.
For more information contact Joan Eamer at firstname.lastname@example.org (325-7476).
Gabriola Songs began as a 40 Song Double CD with a digital download. The project started in early 2018 and the CD was released to the public on November 9, 2018 at the Gabriola Community Hall. Since then this website has been created to provide a resource for Gabriola Musicians. The main feature is the ever expanding Musician Directory.
Over 100 artists were involved in the creation of the Gabriola Songs CD.
Gabriola Writers Social
Meet other writers at the Gabriola Writers Social. From professionals to dabblers. This is not a class, workshop or critique group…it’s just a party for writers. We tried it in November and it was a lot of fun. Bring snack/drink to share.
