Registration for the Gabriola Theatre Festival’s Street Art and Street Fair starts Friday June 16th at 10am. We’d love to have you join us!
Street Art and Street Fair will take place on Lockinvar Lane which will be closed to traffic during the daytime of the 19th and 20th of August.
The Saturday is devoted to our talented artists, providing them an opportunity to show the public their amazing creations. On the Sunday, anything goes…Well, almost! Artists, artisans and crafters are very welcome to stay for a second day. Community groups are encouraged to take this chance to connect with the public. And, if you have food, products or stuff to sell and barter, we want you to come and play! Artists, businesses, farmers, non-profit groups, and more are invited to register. The only requirements are that you are a member of the Gabriola Arts Council (you can easily become a member when you register), and you must be based on Gabriola and selling goods or services produced on Gabriola.
Detail highlights are:
- Saturday August 19, 10:00 to 4:00, Artists Only $20
- Sunday, August 20, 10:00 to 4:00, Everyone Welcome, $20
- $35 for both days, Artists Only.
- Spaces are for 10’ x 10’ stalls
- Your listing will appear on the Arts Council Web site (short description with a link to your Creative Directory/web site)
You can register below on Friday, June 16 at 10am and follow the directions to pay with a credit card using PayPal (you don’t have to be a PayPal member). You can also register in person between 10am-12pm on Friday June 16th at the Arts Centre (476 South Road). If you’d prefer register online and pay by cash or cheque, please drop it off at the Gabriola Arts and Heritage Centre dropbox at 476 South Road.
