The 25th Annual Thanksgiving Studio Tour is almost upon us and there is a lot going on. Over 60 studios will open their doors to visitors. COVID protocols are in place, so please wear a mask, social distance and be patient with artists as they navigate this on top of sharing their art with you. Studios are open October 9 – 11th from 10-5pm. You can see more about artists and an active map at theartsongabriola.ca.

Tour Central is open at Folklife Village, 575 North Road, October 7 – 11th. There are two things happening. Preview Gallery from 10-5pm where you can see an example of work from each studio and plan your tour. We are limited to 50 people at any one time and masks are required. In the evening we are hosting Fresh Notes: Gabriola Youth in Concert. A selection of great musicians under 29 years of age. Each evening from 6:30-9:30pm Tour Central will be open and vaccine passports are requited. Limit to 50 people in the space, concerts begin at 7pm and there is a cash bar.

There is a raffle of a Jeff Molloy giclée, tickets are $5 or 5 for $20 and the draw is October 11th at 7pm. There is also an online 50/50 draw where you can purchase tickets at artsgabriola.rafflenexus.com October 7 – 11th, draw October 12th. All proceeds from these fundraising endeavours go to support the Studio Tour and its continued development.
